Massage therapists, for example, could provide relief
from muscular tension created by anxiety, kinesiologists
provided body balance, naturopaths were able to assist
with nutrition and homeopathic
remedies.
In 2009, Principal Psychologist and Trainer, Elizabeth
Collins, in reviewing the business needs of Vision Phoenix
Consultancy, decided to move the focus from therapeutic
interventions, to Life Coaching, personal
development and well-being
programs.
These programs were designed for people who, while not
experiencing major psychological problems, were not
as fulfilled in their lives as they would like to
be.
The
Personal Power Through
Life Coaching Program offers you the opportunity
to:
- review your life,
- set clear, realistic and
achievable goals,
- let go of beliefs that hold you back
and
- free yourself from past
mistakes.
It takes you through a series of levels
so that you can gain a deeper
understanding
of your values, your personality and one of the
most powerful influences on your thoughts, actions
and feelings - your unconscious
mind.
Over
time, the program will be added to by a series of
audio and visual materials that expand upon what you
have learned. You will be able to choose the area
that you would like to know about
in greater detail - whether it
be managing your money and increasing your
wealth, improving your relationships or the many
ways to manage stress in an increasingly complex and
demanding world.
Elizabeth
Collins
Elizabeth helps you
plan and design the life you want. Too many people become
stuck in a life that is not of their conscious choosing. It
happens when you are not clear about what you want, when
you aim for the impossible or when you try for the
achievable but your plan is poor or
non-existent.
She facilitates the
changes you want through high powered learning
that takes you from the desire to the
reality.
Elizabeth has a
passion for learning, teaching and behavioural change. She
attended the University of Sydney where she gained her BA
and MA in Psychology and her Diploma in
Education.
As her interests
expanded beyond the individual and the family to wider
systems, she studied organisations and completed her
thesis: The Counselling Styles of Australian Managers
gaining her MA in Management at The Graduate School of
Management, Macquarie
University.
Learning has been an
ongoing part of her life. Going beyond the traditional
requirements of professional development in psychology and
education, Elizabeth has embraced studies in Buddhism,
Meditation, Yoga, and has explored the basic workings
underpinning complementary therapies such as Kinesiology
and Bach Flower
Essences.
Her studies in the
more traditional fields of her profession include
Family Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique,
NLP, Conflict Resolution and Accelerated Learning and Mind
Mapping.
All these skills are
used in the Life Coaching Program and the products
generated from this
program.
