Level
Three
In Level Three
you will be taken through three approaches to archetypes to
discover; your underlying patterns; the stage you have
reached in your own hero's journey; the presence and
impact upon you of the Four Archetypes of
Survival.
There are many
writings on archetypes and many approaches to understanding
their influence in our lives. In the following five
sessions, three approaches, those of Carl Jung, Carol
Pearson and Caroline Myss, will be drawn upon to add awareness
to the unconscious influences acting upon you.
Session
1
You will complete the Know Your
Own Archetypes questionnaire before commencing these sessions
and the results will be used to identify six major archetypes
currently influencing your life. The positive and negative
aspects of these archetypes will be explored to see how they
are impacting on the goals that you have set.
Positive patterns will be looked at to see how they could
improve any other areas of your life that require
change.
Session
2
Those areas of your life chosen
for improvement will be analysed against the backdrop of your
own hero's journey. You will see where you're at, review
your progress and be aware of what is to come. Work will
commence on any of the negative patterns that were
identified in Session 1.
Session
3
The Four Archetypes of Survival
will be looked at in more detail particularly in relation to
any negative patterns identified. A plan will be made to use
the archetypal strengths identified to bring completion of your
desired goals and to check out the possibility of setting goals
that were previously thought to be beyond your reach. Work will
continue on shifting negative patterns.
Session
4
In this session, you will
choose three archetypes that you believe to be
representative of you. This will
involve some exploration of your self
image.
Session
5
Now that you have made this journey,
you will consider the ways that you can identify what
archetypes are affecting you throughout your life. You
will prepare a series of questions designed to help with
this identification and strategies for negotiating with
these archetypes.
